The Irma Freeman Center for Imagination is a community arts center and gallery at 5006 Penn Avenue in Pittsburgh's Garfield neighborhood, founded to honor the artist Irma Freeman. Its sustainably renovated building (solar panels, radiant floor heating) holds two rotating first-floor galleries, a small art reference library, a kitchen, and an educational center and workshop, hosting exhibitions, art classes, summer camps, cultural events, and venue rentals. Public spaces are on the first floor, and the building includes a handicap-access bathroom; the Back Room opens by garage door onto a parking lot behind the building.
