About
The Kelso Museum of Near Eastern Archaeology (also known as the Bible Lands Museum) is located on the ground floor of Long Hall on the campus of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, at 616 North Highland Avenue in Pittsburgh's East Liberty neighborhood, near Highland Park. Its collection illustrates daily life in the ancient Near East — landscape and settlement patterns, domestic and communal architecture, agriculture and food preparation, crafts and technologies, trade, religious observance, and early writing systems. Admission and parking are free; the museum is open to the public Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., or by appointment, and guided tours can be requested online.
