About
The David L. Lawrence Convention Center, at 1000 Fort Duquesne Boulevard in downtown Pittsburgh along the Allegheny River, is a 1.5-million-square-foot convention center designed by Rafael Viñoly. It features the largest column-free exhibit hall in the U.S. (about 236,900 square feet), 313,400 square feet of total exhibit space, 53 meeting rooms, a riverfront plaza, and a green roof. It is LEED Gold certified (New Construction) and LEED Platinum certified (Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance), and is certified sensory-inclusive through KultureCity.

A 700-car parking garage is attached to the building, with a 7'8" clearance and the entrance on 10th Street (operated by Alco Parking Corporation). Numerous accessible parking spaces are on the first level of the garage, with close access to the ballroom entrance and the East Lobby entrance. Bicycle parking is available at three locations on Level One inside the garage and at two exterior locations on the north side at Fort Duquesne Boulevard. Real-time downtown parking availability is at ParkPGH.org.
