About

The Madison Arts (& Entertainment) Center, at 3401 Milwaukee Street in Pittsburgh's Upper Hill / Schenley Heights neighborhood, is the home of the Black-owned Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre Company. It houses two performance spaces — the Pittsburgh Playwrights Cabaret Theater and the Carter Woodson Redwood Theater — and the company also stages work at the August Wilson House (1727 Bedford Avenue) in the Lower Hill.
