About

The Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival (PIJF) is a multi-day celebration of jazz in downtown Pittsburgh's Cultural District, now in its 16th edition. Its home base is the August Wilson African American Cultural Center at 980 Liberty Avenue, which hosts the ticketed Kickoff Concert and the Taste of Jazz party, and the festival then spills into the street for a free weekend of live performances along Liberty Avenue between 10th and 7th Streets. The street festival is free and open to the public, with paid VIP upgrades available, and features jazz legends and rising stars, local vendors, food, and family-friendly activities.
